A very nice Cranberry alternative!

It’s a staple of most Thanksgiving meals, and every family has its own secret recipe for cranberry sauce. For some, it’s been handed down for generations. For others, it’s as simple as opening a can.

But we found a new twist on the cranberry, and we love it. It’s Cranberry Salsa, and it is a sweet and spicy alternative to the traditional.

This recipe is just about as easy as it gets. Grab a bag of lime tortilla chips and enjoy.

Cranberry Salsa

  • 1 bag fresh cranberries, washed
  • 1-2 bunches green onions
  • 1 bunch cilantro, washed and stemmed
  • 1-4 jalapeno peppers to taste
  • garlic to taste
  • ½ cup fresh squeezed lime juice
  • ¾ cup sugar

Place in food processor and whirl away. Serve with lime tortilla chips.
